"Absolut Citron"
This animation was based on a printed ad for Absolut's lemon vodka. The ad portrayed the unmistakable shape of the Absolut bottle after it has been transformed into a 60's era lava lamp. I decided that animating the still photo would make for good subject material and provide a unique challenge.

The bottle was completely modeled in 3DS, all materials and lights were created to mimic the original art as closely as possible. Once the objects were in place, MetaReyes Metaballs 2.0 was used to create the morphing globs of yellow "lava" that float around in the lamp.
