"Rub a Dub Dub"
This was a personal project aimed at combining objects
from different archetypes, linear man-made, morpheous man-made, and organic.
The combination of a fire hydrant, claw-foot bathtub and dalmatian comes from
a lithograph I once saw by Martin Mull (yeah, the comedian/actor). The scene
seemed quirky enough to make for a good render.
All
objects were modeled in 3DS. The dog's spots were created using the Splatter.SXP,
but since he was animated with the BonesPro 1.5 IPAS, the SXP could not be applied
directly. Instead, a still image of the SXP texture was saved out and then applied
in the same manner as any other map. The lens flares during the opening were
created with LenzFX 2.0.
